When I think of life, I think of Paris. Vivid and vital, it is always evolving. It is a city – a culture, born of war and peace, food and wine, life and death, and religion and secularism. We can learn lessons from its humanity and its inhumanity. Lessons to help us with our own decisions.

If you have not had a chance to read the essays on Paris in last week’s NYT, do. It speaks volumes about the power of community. “Paris, The Eternal City.
